Research and Development Supervisor will support raw meat product and process development activities to improve quality, cost efficiency, and meet customer needs. Work closely with R&D and Operations teams under guidance from direct report and expert team.
Key Accountabilities
Raw meat Development (60%)
Create and design raw meat cutting to meet customer requirement
Assist in process improvement projects in the plant to enhance reliability and reduce costs.
Conduct trials and support development of raw meat products according to assigned plans.
Prepare progress reports and assist in managing project budgets.
Customer Partnership (30%)
Support customer-focused innovation projects under supervision.
Help build a pipeline of new product ideas aligned with business opportunities.
Assist Technical Services and Operations teams in solving product issues and providing product information to customers.
Technology Leadership (10%)
Collect and record trial data and technical knowledge related to poultry meat for product improvement.
Support cost reduction trials and process improvement initiatives.
Monitor competitor information and technology trends; report findings to the manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or related field.
Experience: 1-3 years in meat product development or processing.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of meat processing and food safety standards (HACCP).
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.
Good communication in English and teamwork skills.
