The Food Technologist - Frying Oil Solution will work closely with senior team members to conduct complex projects in the laboratory or pilot plants and allow development of appropriate solutions fitting with project outcome expectations. In this role, you will conduct complex trials in the laboratory or pilot plant, control samples of the realized trials and report results to senior team members in the innovation and application centers. You will work with project managers to support and define the next steps in the process.
Key Accountabilities
Conduct validation tests on frying oil solutions and register and report results to project leaders by following the established templates and processes.
Partner with Category R&D and other R&D functions to establish value proposition of frying oil solutions for business strategy development.
Support research projects and execute application development work to ensure projects are appropriately executed within timeline given.
Champion the implementation of EHS & food safety initiatives to ensure the compliance with Cargill's policies and procedures for research laboratory center.
Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.
