Research and Development Technician

We currently have an opportunity for a Research & Development (R&D) Technician within our Product Innovation & Marketing department.  This position will be initially located in our Lethbridge, AB facility and will relocate to Winnipeg, MB in approximately 12-18 months. 




  • Prepare bench top samples and pilot prototypes using Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Lab analysis of prototypes and product performance testing
  • Plan and execute plant trials
  • Assist with data analysis and report writing; maintain good records of raw material information, formulas, and specification sheets




  • Bachelor of Science in Food Science or a related discipline coupled with 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in the food industry
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office products
