Position Summary:

 

Product and process development supporting global protein business

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop analytical methods including protein functionality and characterization to meet R&D plant protein development needs
  • Provide analytical support for regional plant protein R&D projects including composition, functional and characterization
  • Develop technical projects resulting new business opportunities aligning global protein strategy
  • Provide analytical support to internal and external customers in the area of starch and starch derivatives
  • Contribute to a highly scientific, market focus, and collaborative R&D organization 
  • Contribute to a safe and environmentally friendly workplace

 

Position Qualifications:

 

  • BS in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, food science or equivalent. MS and PhD preferable
  • Min 3 years industrial experience in analytical support and method development for plant protein research
  • Demonstrated at least one of the following analytical expertise: plant protein characterization, functionality, and bioactivity
  • Demonstrated experience and capability of maintenance for analytical instruments
  • Demonstrated spirits of team work and scientific collaboration
